In the latest Brocante Ariadne, I saw such cute curtains I thought, I can make them myself. So I bought some curtains, cut them in half, sewed some lace and loops between it, and voila, my curtains are done. Aren't they cute? I so love them.
Today I went to an antique market in Haarlem, it was okee, but not wow. First I found this huge Boch can for only € 10,00, can you believe it, so I couldn't let that go.
Than I found this beauty, couldn't resist her, so she went home with me too. After that I went to a shop called Verrassend Goed, that was nearby. It's a cute little shop with lots of stuff from Jean d'Arc. The shop is in a cute street with lots of pots with plants, gave so much inspiration for my garden. I met the owner Marianne, such a sweet person, we talked a bit, and ofcause had to take something home with me. It wouldn't be the last time I will visit her shop, for sure.
Last week I ordered this gorgeous book. It's from 2 German girls, and I just love it. It's full with inspiration for white houses. It's just as good as Lev Vackert and Romantiska Hem.
This morning we went to a fleamarket in Heemskerk, it was not so buisy so that was great. And ofcause I found some great stuff, some lace (again), old handkerchief and some doilies, old baking tins and shoe trees.
And than I found this, an old cotton dress and cao with lace. YEAHHH, that would be so cute in my new sleeping room.
Jean D'Arc. I made these a while ago, saw them in the JDL Magazine. I took some old music paper and lace and wrapped it around some candles. So easy and so fun to make.
